It’s that time of the month again. The stuff I can’t get enough of. The summer months are coming and I have a little extra pep in my step so I’m going to list out three things this month.
There is really no other way to describe how amazing this website is than to say… HONESTLY WHAT THE FUCK. My mother, yes my mother, turned me on to them. The boots (pictured to the left) were a creation she made with their step by step instruction and they are just no bullshit cool. In addition to this, Erica (The founder) is constantly keeping me intrigued with her Instagram story on all the new DIY projects she has in the works. This woman brings DIYing (I think that’s a word…?) to the next level. Even if DIYing (I’m going with it) is not your thing, take a peek at her "Travel" section. She find the most incredible villas, tents and cabins all over the world. I plan on going to Giraffe Manor and Rock Restaurant in the very near future.
The browser plugin to end all plugin’s (That sounds a bit sexual but let’s roll with it). Honey is an extension that finds and applies coupon codes at checkout with a single click. No longer do you need to search high and low to find a code that takes $5 off your purchase, you know why? Because honey will do that for you. Recently I was shopping on a retail outlet and clicked on Honey and got 35% off my purchase. Needless to say, my day instantly became a success. So, to all of you technologically challenged people out there, there is hope for us. This browser extension is simple to download and requires 1 tap of your mouse to make it scavenge the web for a working code. So how do you get this magical device? Easy – just click here and download it with the browser you use most. Happy shopping!
So….I am a woman… hope that isn’t a surprise to anyone but now that we’re clear it should be no surprise that I’m an advocate for woman’s rights. Given the current political climate, I have become even more vocal due to the frustration and hair pulling that goes on nightly when watching the news. A friend (Shout out to Chelsea Frei) recently told me about femininitiees and I became an instant cheerleader. Created by two women who were in their BK apartment with their “heat broken and their nipples hard” (I feel you girls), they decided to create one-of-a-king embroidered T-shirts to help start the conversation on gender equality. They did this by simply adding a quirky slogan/design to a white t-shirt. Most importantly a portion of all proceeds goes to a great cause (National Organization for Women). Every time I’m out wearing one someone comments on the shirt and the conversation on the subject matter begin. So well done girls, you’re making us talk about it.
**Side note: Word on the street is they’re coming out with some new swanky designs, so stay tuned!
Until next month!
